Finished Projects
Please find details on our Finished Projects below or in the menu on your right hand side. There you will also find a list of our Current Projects.
- eTOX - "A better prediction of toxic effects of new drug candidates":
- Integrating bioinformatics and chemoinformatics approaches for the development of expert systems allowing the in silico prediction of toxicities.
- EU-ToxRisk - "An Integrated European 'Flagship' Program Driving Mechanism-based Toxicity Testing and Risk Assessment for the 21st Century":
- toxicological assessment based on human cell responses and a comprehensive mechanistic understanding of cause-consequence relationships of chemical adverse effects.
- FAIRness - "for Life Science Data in Austria"
- FAIR principles for data (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reuseable)
- K4DD - "Kinetics for Drug Discovery":
- The goal of the K4DD project was to improve our understanding of how potential drugs bind with their target, and develop methods and tools to allow researchers to study drug-target interactions with greater ease.
- Ligands for the GABAA receptor alpha+ / beta- interface
- The project goal was the development and testing of substance libraries which act at a recently described (modulatory alpha+/ beta-) binding site of GABAA (gamma-aminobutyric acid type A) receptors.
- Open PHACTS - "Open Pharmacological Concepts Triple Store":
- The Open PHACTS consortium reduced the barriers to drug discovery by applying semantic technologies to available data resources, creating an Open Pharmacological Space.
- SFB35 - "Transmembrane Transporters in Health and Disease":
- Sonderforschungsbereich (research cluster) funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
- TransQST - "Translational quantitative systems toxicology to improve the understanding of the safety of medicines":
- The focus of the TransQST project will be to provide innovative methodologies and software tools for systems toxicology modelling.
