Master Student

Tarik is a master's student in the Drug Discovery and Development program at the University of Vienna, with a background in genetics and microbiology. His research focuses on data imputation approaches for SLC transporters through artificial intelligence. The main methods encompass proteochemometrics with machine learning and multi-task deep neural networks to facilitate knowledge transfer for individual targets as output endpoints. In addition, Tarik has a strong interest in in silico toxicity predictions within the field of small-molecule drug discovery.
